OUR STORY
We are a 100% gluten and wheat free bakery run by married team Liz and Phil. We also have a large range of vegan bakes, probably the best known are our much loved peanut butter balls.
Started by Liz back in 2010 from her home kitchen Check out my Buns has grown to become one of Belfasts favourites. In our exclusively gluten and wheat free kitchen we only ever bake in small batch quantities, we never mass produce. Liz is from New Zealand and although a resident of Northern Ireland for over 25 years, her kiwi roots are evident in our bakes. We prefer flavour over fads, and we like to put our slant on some of the classics from both New Zealand and Australia.
13 years on you can find our bakes at some of the best eateries in Belfast and beyond. Our aim is to make consistently great bakes that can be enjoyed by all whether you need to eat gluten free or not. We have a loyal customer base, and we love them as much as they love our buns!
